“Whatever you do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it”
- Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
My career in health and fitness was first sparked when I entered Dundee University Sports Centre as an undergraduate. What began initially as a hobby and a means of self improvement soon crystalized itself into a way of life. Whilst studying at Moray House and eventually graduating with a Diploma in Sports Management, I underwent formal training in my spare time to become an accredited Personal Trainer which would allow me to share my energy and enthusiasm for fitness with others in a professional capacity.
Over the years that followed I’ve worked both within the UK and overseas as a Personal Trainer and have had the privilege of being able to work along side top strength and conditioning coaches and trainers, whose friendship and knowledge have helped me to refine and continue to broaden my own skill base. I successfully placed 3rd in the First Timers Category for the Mr Scotland 2008 NABBA Bodybuilding Competition.
I subsequently worked in London for 3 years as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Teacher before returning to Edinburgh.
Committed to developing myself professionally and as a result of my own evolution and interest in the nature of mind and consciousness, I recently completed a years Hypnotherapy Training Course, registering with the British Institiute of Hypnotherapy.
Now working from one of three locations - The Balmoral Hotel Gym (Edinburgh City Centre), Cast Iron Strength Gym (Swanfield Industrial Estate,Leith) and Balanced Pilates (Stockbridge) I now provide a uniquely holistic coaching service, designed to help people realize their full potential and ultimately bring about positive change in their mindset and physical vitality.
